WoW Forever Launch Checklist: Get Ready for November 4

Your launch-day plan

Use this as a personal checklist. Your checked items are saved only in this browser. Nothing is sent to Roll Your Main. You can reset the checklist whenever you want.

Don't optimize the fun out of launch

Decide your social commitments first: faction, ruleset and what time you and your friends plan to log in. Then choose a character you want to spend time with. A slightly slower playstyle you enjoy can be a better main than a faster class you dislike.

Before you spend money

Check access, subscription and optional upgrade requirements.

Access to Forever is included with a qualifying WoW subscription or game time; Skyborne is an optional paid upgrade. Leveling-guide purchases are also optional. Check each merchant's launch coverage and refund policies independently. The Zygor versus RestedXP comparison explains their different intended audiences and links to official pages.

When does launch begin?

Blizzard announced a global launch on November 4, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. PST (23:00 UTC). Local date can be November 5 in some regions. Check Blizzard's regional schedule rather than relying on your device clock alone.
