WoW Forever Five-Player Group Planner
Check tank, healer and damage roles for your dungeon group, coordinate classes, and copy a simple group plan.
Plan a five-player dungeon party
Start with one tank, one healer and three damage players as a conventional group-planning template. This isn't a matchmaking service or an enforced dungeon requirement. You can choose a class for each seat and see whether it can generally perform that role. Actual viability depends on builds, gear, level and player skill.
Before your group starts
Choose the same faction and ruleset. Blizzard specifically recommends coordinating these choices with friends and guilds before character creation. Don't assume characters in different rulesets can dungeon together. Decide who enjoys tanking and healing rather than pressuring someone into a role they dislike.
Class flexibility matters: Druids and Paladins can cover multiple roles; Warriors can tank or deal damage. Priests and Shamans can heal or deal damage. A specific role may require an appropriate specialization, talents or gear.
Once the group is set, use the new dungeon-by-level finder to plan your next destination. Blizzard lists nine new five-player dungeons alongside the existing world. The finder covers the new ones only.
